Dagejia Geyser, within the Qire Village of Shigatse Prefecture, southwestern Tibet, is the biggest geyser group in China with dozens of springs on both sides of the valley. With an elevation of 5,086 meters, it is around 25 kilometers away from the No.219 National Highway. It is believed that the rise of the Himalayas Mountains causes the form of the Dagejia Geyser, hence it bears a significant role in the research of geological history of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
